You can add 150 to your current amount of DNA by using this cheat.


This cheat can give you extra money. If you are in the Civilization stage, each time it is used, you may get 2,000 more money. If you are in the Space stage, every time it is used, you may get 1,000,000 money.

levels [-unlock / -unlockadventures]

The Spore cheat codes can do two diverse things. At first, it can unlock all game stages (levels -unlock), which allows you to begin a game from any level (cell, creature, tribal, civilization, or space). Secondly, it can unlock all Maxis adventures (levels -unlockAdventures).

setconsequencetrait [trait code]

Below you will find a searchable list of all consequence traits together with their trait codes. In Spore, you can use it with the SetConsequenceTrait cheat code. Also note that set consequence traits can be used only for the current stage, for instance you need to be in the Creature stage to set a Creature stage trait.

By typing the name of  stage or a consequence trait into the given search box to find out database of 22 super powers instantly.


This command can unlock all super weapons (for your present phase/civilization type).


This cheat can unlock as well as recharge, all Creation Tools when in Space Mode.


This cheat can entirely reinstate your health and all other motives.

freedom [on / off]

This cheat can greatly boost the intricacy limits that are frequently in place when forming a creature in the Creature Creator, which allows you to make more intricate creatures. Note that this doesn't permit you to make substantially composite creatures, the edge is improved a large amount, but it isn't unlimited, so if you make a creature that is too compound it will not be pollinated.


When in the main menu, you should enter this cheat into the console. It can give you permission to select any creature from the Sporepedia when you start a new creature game. Evolutionary privileged creatures that are frequently locked when starting a game will be unlocked.

settime [(hours, minutes)]

This command can set the time to the particular hour and (optionally) minute. 23 would set the time to 11PM, 1 would set the time to 1AM.

rename [planet / star] [new name]

With this console command you can rename the chosen planet or star to the name you denote. Select the planet or star you want to rename, and then use this command.

adventurelook [filter name]

This command can add the particular "adventure look" filter to your game's graphics (or disable a filter you've added). Adventure look filters modify the way the game looks - e.g. the -filmnoir filter makes your game black and white. For a list of all filters, you can see argument information. Specify -none to disable an accessible filter and return to normal graphics.


This cheat code can enable and disable (toggles) blocksmode. Instead of with their usual textures, creatures can render as their blocky meshes when blocksmode is enabled. When you type it again, it may turn it off as it is a toggle command.


A spinning GIF of the planet that currently is being used and save it on the AnimatedAvatars directory, try using this command.


With the Spore cheats, you can clear all messages from the console.


This command can export the creature that you are presently viewing as a collada (.dae) 3D mesh file.


Freecam mode can be enabled and disabled with this Spore cheats. All the camera restrictions will be removed in freecam mode and it allows you to zoom out the camera as you please and move the camera to any location.

help [command name / -full]

This command can print a list of all Spore cheat codes to the console, or, if you denote a command as an argument, help for that exact command.

highrestexturelevel [off / low / medium / high]

This command can set the class of textures for automobiles, buildings, and other entities. Lower settings add to FPS/performance, higher settings allow your game to look better.

history [amount]

This command has been reported as not working in latest versions of the game. A list of commands should be made that you have entered into the console (i.e. your command history). You can optionally identify a number to view only that amount of newest commands from the command history - i.e. 'history 3' would list the 3 latest commands you entered into the console.


All the hints can be removed from the game by using this command.

movie [-record [name]] [-size [width] [height]] [-quality [0-1]] [-noui] [-noaudio] [-nocrop]

To record your game you can use this command. Recordings will be saved to the "Movies" folder which can be found in the "My Spore Creations" folder, which is in your Documents (Windows). For detailed help and examples see command page.

option [option name] [option value] [-save] [-reset]

Three different things can be done with this command. It can reorganize all of your options to default (-reset argument). It can save your current options (-save argument). Or, it can set the value of an option (to a value you identify). Without any arguments, you can type 'option' into the console and it will enlist all options with their present values.

pauseuivisible [-show / -hide / -toggle]

To show and hide the pause UI, you can use this command that commonly shows when the game is paused.


This command can quit your game. You can exit the Spore completely with this command.

stylefilter [filter name]

The adventureLook cheat is comparable to the style filter cheat - it can modify the graphics of your game, for instance you can make the game black and white. You can disable a style filter with the command 'styleFilter -none'. For a complete list of all style filters you need to see argument information that you can use with this command.


This command can toggle (enable and disable) the demonstration of the UI in captured images, for instance, if you have this toggled off, screenshots you take by means of the game won't have the UI showing.


This command can toggle (enable and disable) the display of the background in editors.
